About Our organization

Better Life Achievement Organization (BLAO) is a charity organization that was created on April 5th 2008 at Kigali, BLAO has the legal status given by the Government of Rwanda approved with the Ministerial Order n0136/08.11 of 22 August 2011.

Better Life Achievement Organization was created following generation of ideas and commitments from their founding members in order to bring their meaningful contribution to the national dignity and prosperity though promoting Human Rights, Good Governance and inclusive and equitable development after the tragedic situation of genocide against Tutsi that our country went through 1994 . Better Life Achievement Organization works towards improving living conditions of vulnerable groups of people especially those of children, youth and women under the mission of “to ensure that children, youth and women enjoy a human rights based holistic and sustainable socio-economic development.

Goals of Our organization

• To promote and defend the human rights, especially the rights of the most vulnerable groups of children, youth and women;
• To promote good governance, peace and security, fighting against Genocide and its ideology;
• To contribute to ending hunger and poverty and addressing climate change.

Contributing to building a peaceful and prosperous society with a human rights based sustainable and equitable development through policy and legal framework analysis, advocacy and support.
