Grassroots Initiative to fight against Sexual and Gender Based Violence among teenage girls in Rwanda
The project contributes to fighting against Sexual and Gender Based Violence among teenage girls under eighteen years old in Rwanda;It is currently serving to 1200 teenagers in Gasabo, Gisagara and Ngoma districts of Rwanda.
Promoting Quality Governance of Child Rights and Eradicating Child Domestic Labor in Rwanda is a one of the current projects that are being implemented by BLAO. This project seeks in a systemic way to contribute to totally eliminate the child domestic labor in Rwanda.
COMMUNITY LEGAL EDUCATION AND INFORMATION INITIATIVE
Community Legal Education and Information is an activity that seeks in a systematic way to provide the community with the opportunity to obtain information about the law and the justice system in a form that is timely and appropriate to their needs. It improves access to justice by giving the public the information that is needed to understand the law, how to deal with the legal issues that affect their lives and how to use the opportunities and the protections offered by the legal system.
PROMOTING RURAL YOUTH’S EMPOWERMENT
The project aims at addressing needs of the vulnerable youth members to improve their living conditions by equipping them with vocational skills , cooperative management and providing start up tool kits to allow them carry out income generating activities and sustain themselves economically and socially.
The project seeks to contribute to improved civil society capacity and Citizen participation to be more active and influential in directing public policy to enhance responsive and accountable governance with focus of strengthening Civil Society and Human Rights Defenders interventions and generally citizen participation to improve public service delivery in Rwanda in order to meet the needs of the Rwandan people, especially the Vulnerable and marginalized groups.

Promoted quality ECD service delivery in Rwanda
The project supports the improvement of nutritional and educational services for kids. Investing in early childhood development (ECD) is critical to breaking a vicious cycle of hunger, poverty and inequality, particularly amongst the most vulnerable populations of Rwanda. The evidence also shows that return on investment with regards to human capital is highly needed in the early years than at any other age. It is during this time that the brain undergoes its most dramatic growth, and children acquire the ability to think, speak, learn and reason. Early experiences can and do influence the physical architecture of the brain.
